In summer I am torn between my preferred writing in the early morning and getting out to the gardens early in the morning before it gets too hot. I believe this year I will adopt an afternoon siesta. Garden in the morning, light lunch, nap, then writing in the evening. We'll see how it goes.
One of the things I enjoy the most about writing fantasy is creating an origin story for my tales. I make lists and tables and draw maps and sometime I invent history books.
